The ongoing saga of Laura N.'s pursuit of weight loss, fitness, and happily ever after.
good for you!!! I am very glad that you found (made/whatever you had to do) the time. Our weather has been nice and cool. Middle child and my husband ran 5 miles last night - not all at a fast speed - but kept going. He runs at her pace (she is 5' 4" and he is about 6')
I am back - I only got to type a bit before - and then had to take oldest to a doctor's appointment (he is home for the long weekend). Middle child and my husband started running a few weeks ago. He was shocked at how well she did. (I think he was expecting to have to carry her to the car after the first mile). ALL the kids run in gym - starting in the lower grades - and then the distances increase over the years. And they ran every week day in gym all last year (both semesters, as freshman). So some level of the conditioning must have stuck with her. She swam all summer - but not competitive lap training - just laps for fun and then goofing around type swimming/diving.
Congrats on the run!I loved your engagement post!
