yo...I went to mass in a sweater, skirt and tights.

youngest went with sleeveless dress and flats, bare legs.

She said it is spring

I said I want to be warm.

I use my glasses for distance and then look around them or take them off for CLOSE reading. but then have to position what I am reading in just the right place to see (a book close, need glasses to see my computer screen). with my dizzy issues, eye doc thought bifocals would be BIG problem for me (I think he is right)

My husband is in bifocals. and oh did he have trouble getting used to where to look when.

His mother had the corrective eye surgery and then in the end, couldn't see close or far (but didn't need glasses in her opinion), my eye doc said that is usually what happens (does not promote that surgery).

VERY GLAD you had good boundaries for EASTER.

Ellen has been (quietly) writing about (finally) taking a stand on the holidays (mentally ill brother who is violent).

I took my holidays back in the spring of 2011 (my 50th birthday was my reality point/line in the sand). I tend to (purposely) forget at they use so much better and soy sauce in the rice. It is delicious, but not worth how it wrecked my afternoon (I was very sleepy about an hour after we ate--sign that it was too carb heavy and I ate too much). I had chicken, but was full by the time it was served (meat is last thing you get). I only ate about 1/4 of chicken so it was a waste, too. It's like remembering that I can't eat cheese anymore...it's not on my binge list, so it's not been top of mind to not eat it. But it messes with my GI system and it makes me bloated/retain water. So I'm more conscious now to say no to cheese (like my Ezekial bread grilled cheese that I ate this winter or pizza or cheese on salads). Didn't even realize I needed that much more until I see how much better my computer screen looks today. They mess up my distance vision, which is also how I know they are stronger. With my old ones, I could see distance just fine. These are also non-glare; old ones weren't. Non-glare is much better for computer work.
